Privacy Policy
Interpay is a brand operated by Vivian Softworks LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
Interpay is a brand operated by Vivian Softworks LLC. Vivian Softworks LLC is the legal company that operates the Interpay platform. In this policy, “Interpay”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Vivian Softworks LLC operating under the Interpay brand — not to a separate company.
For privacy questions or requests, contact us at [email protected].
2. Information we may collect
Depending on how you use Interpay, we may collect or process the following, where applicable:
- your name and email address;
- account information, such as your account settings and preferences;
- authentication information, such as hashed passwords and two-factor authentication settings;
- store information, such as your store's name, settings and domains;
- product information you add to your catalog;
- order information for orders placed through Interpay;
- customer information entered into Interpay, such as the names, email addresses and shipping details customers provide at checkout;
- payment information and payment metadata, such as amounts, currency, method and status;
- cryptocurrency transaction IDs, blockchain addresses and other blockchain transaction information;
- API keys and API-related metadata, with keys stored only as hashes;
- IP addresses, browser information and device information;
- security logs and audit logs;
- webhook configuration and delivery information; and
- support communications — the messages you send us.
Interpay does not receive or store full payment card numbers or security codes. When a customer pays by card through a Stripe-hosted payment flow, the card details are handled directly by Stripe rather than by Interpay.
3. Blockchain information
Blockchain transactions are recorded on public blockchain networks. Information such as wallet addresses, transaction IDs, transaction amounts and other blockchain data may be visible to anyone, on any blockchain explorer, permanently.
Because this information is written to a public network, Interpay cannot generally delete information that has already been permanently recorded on a blockchain. We cannot promise that information recorded on a blockchain will be removed — by us or by anyone else.
4. How we use information
We may use information to:
- provide Interpay;
- create and manage accounts;
- provide storefront functionality;
- process payments and transactions, including matching payments on the blockchain to orders;
- detect fraud and abuse;
- secure the platform;
- provide customer support;
- send service-related communications;
- maintain and improve the service;
- monitor technical issues;
- comply with legal obligations; and
- enforce our Terms of Service.
6. Third-party services
Interpay relies on independent providers to operate, and information may be processed by providers such as:
- Stripe, which processes card payments and handles card details in hosted payment flows;
- Resend, which delivers our transactional email;
- blockchain infrastructure providers, which we use to read and monitor blockchain networks;
- hosting providers, on which Interpay runs.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to read. We only share what a provider needs to do its job.
7. Data retention
We may retain information for as long as it is reasonably necessary for:
- providing the service;
- security;
- fraud prevention;
- legal obligations;
- accounting;
- dispute resolution;
- enforcing our agreements; and
- other legitimate business purposes.
When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it — subject to what this policy says about blockchain data in Section 3, and to information we are required to keep by law.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including:
- passwords stored only as hashed values;
- session and two-factor sign-in carried in cookies that scripts cannot read;
- API keys stored only as hashes, separate for test and live mode, and revocable at any time;
- audit and security logging of account activity;
- two-factor authentication for sign-in and for sensitive actions; and
- limiting access to information to those who need it for the work described in this policy.
No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to your personal information, which can include:
- access to your personal information;
- correction of information that is inaccurate;
- deletion of your personal information;
- restriction of how we use it;
- objection to how we use it; and
- portability of your personal information.
To make a privacy-related request, contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request.
10. Children
Interpay is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live in order to use Interpay.
11. International data processing
Interpay relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers, which may be located in countries other than your own. Because of that, information may be processed in countries other than the one you live in, where data protection rules may differ.
Where the law requires a safeguard for such processing, we use an appropriate one.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to let you know, where applicable law requires it.
